October is my birthday month, and my wonderful wife asked me what I wanted for my birthday. I replied, a new Bass Guitar. You know the saying, “How many more guitars do you need?” Answer: “Just one more”. To my surprise, she got me an awesome Bass Guitar.
It’s been a long time since I played Bass even semi-serious, actually since my first three years in the Army. I played well enough to be in a group in the Army, but I only considered myself an “intermediate player” at best. I thought since I’m learning guitar now, why not get a bass and brush up on my skills and become a better player like I should have years ago. This is what I got for my birthday!

Who could wish for a better Birthday than this! I said goodby to my second Dodge Challenger, but this is much more practical, and to be honest, the “coolness” of the Challenger went away for me. Kind of hard to put 2×4’s into a Challenger at Home Depot for a project. This will be the 4th Dodge Ram that I have owned.
